DATA FILE: MOSQUITO ASSAULT FIGHTER

Description

The Mosquito is a large assault fighter, designed to deliver two Detonator struggle suits to an enemy ship.
To accomplish this, the craft mounts two assault pods, each holding one suit on it's hull.(The long, tubelike objects mounted at the front)
The pods are launched from the fighter, penetrate the hull, where the Detonator Suits seek out the hangar bays, engineering sections and the bridge, cripple these, then return to the mother ship (Usually a Lorelei StarFlagShip)

Offense

The Mosquito is armed with one Laser turret, mounted on the center wing section, below the connector to the fuselage, and the two assault pods.

Defense

These fighters can take a lot of damage, including a failed shield entry, though this means the fighter will (in all probability) be scrapped for parts IF it returns.
